Screwdriver turning in place but the screw won't tighten? Don't despair! Here's a nifty fix:
Grab a toothpick and snap it in half.
Wedge the broken end into the screw hole. It should fit snug between the screw threads and the surrounding material.
Now, try tightening the screw again. The toothpick acts like a wedge, providing extra grip for your screwdriver and finally securing that loose screw.
